Q: How much does it cost?
The investment is a few hours each month in an in-person group, plus a one-on-one meeting between sessions. The cost of not attending? Learning from your own mistakes. CBC is intentionally and significantly lower than that—our monthly investment and accountability program is under $1,000/month.
Q: Can we just do 1:1 coaching?
You could—but why limit yourself to one perspective when you could have 8-12 wise leaders challenging your thinking? The power of a peer group is that you’re not relying on a single viewpoint; you’re getting real-world insights from leaders who’ve been in your shoes. We do offer 1:1 coaching as a supplement, but the real value comes from the collective wisdom in the room.
Q: What does the commitment look like?
A few hours a month in an in-person group, plus a 1:1 meeting between sessions. Most leaders start off thinking they don’t have time—but that’s often a sign they’re too deep in the day-to-day. If you’re stuck working in the business instead of on it, this is exactly the kind of shift that can help. The leaders who commit to showing up consistently start making better decisions, delegating more effectively, and gaining back their time.
Q: What is the process for onboarding new members?
It starts with a conversation—your chance to ask questions and see if this space aligns with your goals, and our chance to get a sense of your perspective and whether the group dynamic will be the right fit. From there, you’ll sit in on a session to experience the room firsthand and see if these are the kind of leaders who will challenge and stretch you. Most people know by the end of that session whether they’re ready to commit to the conversation and the growth that comes with it.
Q: How do I know if I’m not a good fit?
Ask yourself this—how do you respond when your team brings up new ideas or challenges your perspective? If that makes you uncomfortable or defensive, this group will stretch you.

We’re here for leaders who know they don’t have all the answers—those who are actively seeking insight, accountability, and growth. If your cup is already full and you think you’ve got it all figured out, this probably isn’t the space for you. The best leaders know that surrounding themselves with other sharp minds makes them better. If that excites you, you’re in the right place.

Q: What happens if I don’t get my money’s worth?

We ask each new member to commit to six months—because real change takes time. If you don’t see the value, it’s likely one of three things:

  1. We failed to ask you the right questions based on your business, and you’ve decided not to return. That’s rare—80%+ of members who make it to six months stay for a year or more.
  2. You haven’t applied or acted on the insights from the group. If you’re not taking action, accountability will make that clear, and at that point, it’s not a good fit for either of us.
  3. You expected a networking or referral group. We set that expectation straight from the start—this is about sharpening your leadership, not just swapping business cards.

But here’s the deal—if you and your leadership team aren’t making measurable progress within 12 months, we’ll fire you. We don’t take money from people who aren’t willing to do the work. There are plenty of groups that will. If that’s what you’re looking for, go find them.

Q: What am I going to learn or get out of this?
The real value isn’t a curriculum—it’s the collective experience in the room. Business is too complex for one person to know everything. You’ll be surrounded by leaders who’ve been where you’re headed, helping you see blind spots and push forward.

Q: Who are these groups for? What types of organizations do you work with?
We work with business owners and leadership teams in the manufacturing, trades, construction, HVAC, plumbing, and service-based industries—organizations with a production/engineering manager, a scheduler, or a fleet of trucks with the company logo out front. We work best with companies in the 12-45 full-time employee range, where the org chart, efficiency, and leadership development start getting tricky. At this stage, coordinating and aligning leaders and teams of teams becomes a challenge that’s tough to manage alone.

Still wondering if it’s the right fit? Our video further elaborates on this question and what makes a strong fit for the group.

WE ARE HERE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS

What am I going to get out of this?

Yes, we’ll cover financials, efficiency, delegation, succession planning, and tough conversations. But the real value isn’t in the topics themselves—there are books and podcasts for that. The value is in the room full of leaders who have tried, failed, adjusted, and figured out what actually works.

Have you ever made mistakes in your business? Those lessons are what make you valuable to the conversation. That’s why we want you in the room.
